IT ALL BEGAN WITH A FARM.
The Pickle Barn sits on the Valenti Farm located in Penfield, NY. The barn was rebuilt in 1941 after a fire burnt down the original barn. The original farm house was built in 1832 and sat on a 50+ acre dairy farm. Paul and his wife, Amanda, moved onto the farm in August 2015, and immediately got to work.
Since 2015, the barn has undergone a total transformation. With the help of family and friends the barn floor has been leveled, new headers and footers were added and a tongue and groove plywood floor was installed.
Painting the Barn.
In fall of 2020, the barn was painted by Paul, Joey and their mom. Four days and 13 gallons of paint later the indoor court that still exists at the barn today was born!
The Outdoor Courts
In August 2022, we added two additional outdoor courts to the property.
